Visit the International Space Station without ever leaving the ground
A few small steps inside a West Palm Beach performing arts center equates to one giant leap 250 miles above Earth

I went up to the International Space Station the other day. It was an awe-inspiring out-of-this-world trip, even if I never left the ground.
On assignment for The Palm Beach Post, I went behind the scenes at Space Explorers: The Infinite, an immersive virtual-reality experience at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach until Sept. 2.
A co-producer of the exhibit, Felix Lajeunesse, explained how the production was made, how astronauts played the dual roles of production crew and co-stars, and how walking on a ballroom floor off Okeechobee Boulevard feels like walking in space.
Walking in space?? How in the name of Buzz Lightyear is that possible??
Read all about it a story I wrote for the Palm Beach Post. Click this link to read it. (Hopefully you won’t hit a paywall.)
I enjoyed the exhibit so much, I went back again on Father’s Day with my daughter Maddie.
